Junior Classes

There are plenty of options for young aspiring golfer's at The Brendan McDaid Golf Academy in Rathsallagh and now in Carlow Drving Range. Our popular junior golf lessons are ideal for kids who fall into the following categories:

1. Love the game and want to get better
2. Want to have fun at golf
3. Want to try out golf for the first time
4. Cannot commit to coming every single week but have the flexibility of turning up one week and not the next

Times:

Rathsallagh:  Saturday & Sunday  2pm - 3pm

Carlow: Saturday & Sunday 11am - 12pm

All you have to do is register your childs name by ringing in advance of class start time in each Academy. We can also organise suitable clubs for those of you that don't have any with them.

Y.M.G

Young Master Golf is a Junior Golf Programme that takes the form of a structured 8-week program. Each week is a step-by-step progression covering all aspects of the game from long game, short game & putting through to the ever-important topics of rules & etiquette.

Pupils registered on Y.M.G. start at Cadets and over time can progress to Masters level. Each pupil receives an 8-week booklet when registering - this serves as a great learning tool with its easy-to-read diagrams, illustrations & weekly tips.

Y.M.G. golfers also get the opportunity during the Summer to play in an All-Ireland Y.M.G. tournament at a golf club in their region - a great day out with a major emphasis on fun.

Once registered with Y.M.G. @ The Academy you will be assigned a set day & time for your class each week. If it's a specific structured, fun junior golf program that you are looking for then Y.M.G. is the way to go!!!
